Signal Vine Blog: Text Me Back

What We Learned at Oracle Alliance

Posted by Peter Murray on March 8, 2017

Our team returned this week from an exciting Oracle Alliance conference in Las Vegas. More than 3,800 Higher Education User Group (HEUG) members attended to share ideas and best practices for using Oracle applications in higher education institutions. Read all about the conference in today's blog post.

A common theme from the conference sessions was the need to text with students in a secure, easy-to-manage way. Integrating text messaging with the university's systems of record was a frequent topic of discussion, and we spoke with many institutions about connecting Signal Vine with Oracle applications for better communications with students.

Our mascot, Squiggle, was a big hit at our booth (as always!). Did you take a photo with Squiggle or while wearing your green Signal Vine sunglasses? Tag your photo on social media with #TextMeBack!

We'll be busy over the next few months meeting with customers and sharing new texting strategies at higher education conferences around the country. Let us know if you'll be attending ACE (in Washington, DC) or NASPA (in San Antonio, TX) this weekend.

Not going to ACE or NASPA? Check out our conference calendar for more upcoming conferences.

See you there!
