This week, Signal Vine sponsored our first “Txt 4 Success” workshop at the Annual NCCEP conference in San Francisco, welcoming a packed room of 45+ attendees wanting to learn how to incorporate interactive text messaging into their GEAR UP programs. The session was hosted by Dr. Adam Green and Jessica Kennedy with the West Virginia Higher Education Policy Commission, and we joined Alex Chewning from uAspire to provide additional content and perspective.
You may have seen our video 'A Texting Story' already, but we thought it would be interesting to give a little bit of background. We've been hearing a lot of moving, personal stories over the past 15 months that highlight how we can impact a student's path, but never quite felt that words on a webpage did these stories justice. So when we stumbled upon The Draw Shop, a light bulb went off... this is how we could share our stories with more people. Next thing we knew, we saw these stories come to life in the form of Jake.
Welcome to TextMeBack, the place where our "Signal Squad" will be sharing everything and anything we think you'll be interested in hearing. There's more than enough information and pictures on our site to give you a sense of who we are, but let me share a little bit more about the Signal Vine community that you might not know (unless you've been working with us for a while).
